The Swiss government through the Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students (FCS) offers scholarships for academic year 2011/12. This scholarship is offered to the students graduate (postgraduate) who wants to do research or master's degree at one university in Switzerland.
This scholarship program lasts for 9 (nine) months or 1 academic year. However, under certain circumstances the scholarship can be extended up to a maximum of the 2nd academic year in accordance with the consideration of FCS and colleges concerned.
The few studies or educational programs that are not included in the offer of scholarships, among others, Art Science, Education S-1, School of Hospitality Education, exchange students, Part-time studies, On-the-job studies, or study long-distance (correspondence course).
For those who are interested in this program need to know, that the number of scholarships valued at CHF 1920 per month (for the cost of living). Please note, that not all graduate programs and universities in Switzerland free of tuition fee scholarship for this scholarship only covers the cost of living in Switzerland.
For this reason, each applicant is necessary to clarify certain tuition fees being waived for the selected study programs with universities in question. While travel costs and insurance recipients from Indonesia must bear its own costs of travel to the Swiss.
Registration is already open, and scholarship applicants must return the attached registration form complete with supporting documents no later than October 31, 2010 next to the Embassy of Switzerland (Culture Section) on Jl. H.R. Rasuna Said Kav. X3 / 2, Jakarta 12950.
